The Citadel At Hue

Propeller-driven A-4’s were diving straight down towards the ruins, pouring sheets of napalm and tons of explosives into the Citadel at Hue. The marines were taking it back brick by brick from the thousands of VC who had seized it in the Tet Offensive. The brass had finally decided that the historical value of the ancient city wasn’t worth the human cost of trying to retake it without air and artillery support so now they were making up for lost time by pounding the VC unmercifully.
